About Lisa Carnahan and Lisa Knits

An avid knitter for over 30 years, Lisa began knitting model garments for the yarn industry, and at the same time, working on some of her own designs. She began doing freelance designing and her patterns have appeared in the collections of Classic Elite, Fiber Trends, Tahki Stacy Charles, Lion Brand Yarns and others, and have been published by Interweave Press, Knitters, Knit1, Cast On, Knit It and Annie’s Attic. She also filmed an online class available through Annie's. In 2001, she launched her own business, Lisa Knits, a line of knitwear patterns that are available in yarn shops across the country and on the Ravelry website.
Lisa has been certified by the Craft Yarn Council as a knitting instructor and has taught all levels of knitters at local yarn shops, knitting guilds and workshops.
